Vancouver vs Edmonton: NHL Playoff Eliminated Canucks and Oilers Clash

Canucks second last chance to impress Team Linden

Since former Vancouver Captain Trevor Linden took over as the final decider of all things puck on the BC Coast, the Canucks have played one game – a tough 4-2 loss to Colorado. Those that like the fun and rain of Vancouver have two more chance to impress the new Brass – tonight in Edmonton and back home tomorrow night against Calgary. We’re thinking they may save some juice to close out with the season with a win.

Is that David Bowie we hear playing in Oil Country Edmonton?

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes Turn and face the stranger – sweet old classic that one is eh? Edmonton management, coaches, players, fans, psychiatrists and media may all be strangers meeting for the first time once the final puck drop and festivities end in the Alberta Capital tonight. The Oilers close out their eighth straight season without an invitation the the NHL Playoff party. With a 28-44-9 record, it’s been a rough season for the Oilers.
