Bet on the US Open Tennis 2019
While you can certainly bet on each match at the US Open, the most popular markets are the outright markets, which are split into men’s, women’s and doubles.
US Open Men’s Odds
Novak Djokovic just held on to beat Roger Federer in one of the most epic Wimbledon finals in recent history, and a win at the US Open will see him win three of the four in 2019. It will also see him creep ever so close to Rafael Nadal and Federer in the overall grand slam standings. Here are the top fifteen chances:
|Felix Auger Aliassime||66.00||67.00||67.00|
US Open Women’s Odds
It is interesting to see Simona Halep at second on this list considering she has had the better of Serena Williams recently. Williams of course will be playing in her home grand slam, although she is yet to win a tournament since having time off to have her child in 2017. Here are the top fifteen in the women’s odds:
US Open 2019 Picks and Predictions
Here’s where you’ll find out top picks for the tournament in the men’s and women’s and doubles competitions at the tournament. We successfully picked 3/4 at Wimbledon this year and we’re looking to go one better at the US Open.
US Open Men’s Winner
Ok, so this one is easy. Novak Djokovic may have only just won at Wimbledon, but that was on grass, probably his second favourite surface and Roger Federer’s favourite. Djokovic excels on hard court surfaces and should be unbeatable here. He’s really your only option at odds of around $2.10 here.
If you’re looking for an outsider to make a run at the semi-finals, our pick is 2014 winner Marin Cilic.
US Open Women’s Winner
Picking winners in the women’s draw at grand slam has proven notoriously difficult recently. While Serena Williams’ name keeps popping up, she just can’t seem to get over the line, and there’s no reason to think this will be here year despite her favouritism.
We also don’t think Naomi Osaka can back up her win in the 2018 event – she hasn’t shown any form since winning the Australian Open earlier this year. It’s also a stretch to think Ashleigh Barty can win the US Open despite her high ranking.
As for an outsider bet, well there’s plenty of talk about Canadian youngster Bianca Andreescu. She’s won some tournaments this year and is a good chance of making the final four.
US Open Doubles Winners
While the odds aren’t yet available, we’re predicting the men’s doubles will be won by some of the top seeds at the tournament. For the men’s, go for Colombian top seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah, while the women’s doubles draw is likely to be dominated by the combination of Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strycova.
When is the 2019 US Open Final?
The men’s doubles final will be held on Friday, September 6th.
This follows the women’s singles final on Saturday, September 7th, while the women’s doubles final and men’s singles final will both be held on the final day, Sunday, September 9th.
