    UFC 259 Best Betting Picks

Three championship belts are on the line and two all-time greats are in action in what will be a spectacular UFC event and we've got our UFC 259 betting picks ready to explode... in more ways than one.

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowiz finds himself as an underdog yet again as he takes on UFC Middleweight Champion and undefeated king Israel Adesanya. "The Last Stylebender" is looking to become a "Double Champ" just like Amanda Nunes, who puts her featherweight title on the line against gargantuan striker Megan Anderson in the co-main event. And rounding out the title fights is the long-anticipated tilt between champ Petr Yan and number-one contender Aljamain Sterling.

    UFC 259 Picks & Predictions

Our winning streak continues as our UFC 258 picks went a perfect 3-0. If you tailed our parlay you would've won big. Now, UFC 259 is a bit trickier and we're going to get bold here with not one but two upset picks:

Light Heavyweight Championship: Jan Blachowicz (3.25) vs Israel Adesanya (1.38)

A few hundred words just aren't enough to describe the intricacies of this striking battle between champions. Adesanya, the "smaller" fighter is the favourite thanks to being arguably the greatest striker in MMA history. He's confounded every opponent he's fought including other elite strikers.

But Blachowicz has flourished as an underdog. The Polish pugilist has also fought and beaten other talented kickboxers. He poses as a more significant knockout threat than all of Adesanya's opponents save for Paulo Costa, who is still a smaller fighter. Never count out the champion.

SBR’s pick — Blachowicz (3.25). Adesanya should be favoured here and it's likely he'll win this fight by evading Blachowicz's power shots and chopping his legs for a decision or a late finish. But bet-wise, we like Blachowicz to become the first fighter to beat Adesanya. Over 2-1 odds on him to land a fight-changing punch is too good to pass up.

Tip: Check BetOnline and SportsBetting for some great promotions on big MMA fights like this.

Women's Featherweight Championship: Amanda Nunes (1.10) vs Megan Anderson (8.00)

The "Champ Champ" and women's GOAT is taking on Anderson for her featherweight strap and as odds indicate, this should be another blowout win for Nunes. Anderson is the biggest opponent Nunes will have fought and she does possess serious power. But Nunes is better-rounded, especially on the ground.

Expect Nunes to not mess with Anderson on the feet and take her to the mat, where she has been susceptible. Nunes should grapple her and lock in a rear-naked choke or armbar somewhere in the middle rounds. At worst, it's a no-brainer decision for "The Lioness".

SBR’s pick — Nunes (1.10). The line is getting a bit ridiculous here, but there's no way we can recommend betting on Anderson over Nunes. But be wary as crazy upsets have happened, especially in the women's division. Still, Nunes should make short work of Anderson here.

Bantamweight Championship: Petr Yan (1.71) vs Aljamain Sterling (2.20)

Yan finally meets Sterling in a much-delayed bout for the 135 belt. The Russian is a slight favourite here as he holds a sizable striking advantage over the grappler. But Sterling has improved significantly with each of his bouts and is like a mini-Usman in his constant forward pressure.

Sterling will push the pace here and keep Yan on the backpedal. However, if Sterling gets too aggressive he can get caught by one of the division's best counter-strikers. But Yan hasn't been too tested in the grappling category and once Sterling gets his hands on Yan, it could be a long arduous night for the champion.

SBR’s pick — Sterling (2.20). Yan is the probable winner here, but Sterling has a solid chance at imposing his game on Yan. He will also be the more aggressive fighter and could sway the judges as the man moving forward. Barring him running into a countershot, he should edge this one.

Parlay Idea: as we mentioned, it's best to throw Nunes in a parlay than betting her straight. We also like Song Yadong (1.62) to win. A parlay of Nunes and Yadong yields a 1.78 return, which is a decent return for two of the best favourites on the card.
