Toronto vs Calgary: CFL Week 3 Closes in the Stampede City

Toronto vs Calgary: CFL Week 3 Closes in the Stampede City

Calgary Stampeders: Look to regroup from Week 2 pummeling

Following a 29-11 loss to the Montreal Alouettes in Week 2, in a match where they were outplayed in every facet of the game, Calgary returns home looking to get back on track. While it’s early in the season, the Stampeders (1-1) have not looked very impressive in either of their first two games. The Stamps needed a miracle final drive to take out Hamilton during their 24-23 season opening win prior to falling flat in Montreal last week. We expect the Stampeders to be fired up here.

Toronto Argonauts: No Ricky Ray has not been a problem for the 2-0 Boatmen

Playing without star quarterback Ricky Ray, who led the CFL with 4,595 passing yards last year, has not been a problem during the first two weeks of the season for Toronto. Still recovering from off-season shoulder surgery, Ray began the season on six-game injured list. In his absence, QB Trevor Harris has led the Argonauts to a pair of wins and has looked fantastic while doing so. Harris has complete 54 of his 65 passes for 614 yards and seven TD while tossing just one interception.

Calgary vs Toronto CFL Week 3 Prediction: Following their 35-22 Grey Cup loss in 2012 to the Argonauts, Calgary has posted a 3-1 record versus the Boatmen including a pair of wins, 40-33 at home and 34-15 in Toronto, last season. Though it may be history, the Stampeders have not lost back-to-back regular season contests since Week 2 and 3 of the 2012 CFL season. Looking to get some value out of the Stamps bloated money line price, we will parlay the Red & White with the UNDER and a 200 unit wager at the SportsInteraction online sportsbook. Saddle up and ride!
