Super Bowl XLIX and NFL Conference Championship Futures Odds

Seattle Seahawks: Defending Champs top NFC chalk

We are not surprised to find the Seattle Seahawks as the top favorite to win the the NFC Championship and overall chalk to capture back-to-back Super Bowl titles. While the Seahawks appear to be loaded once again, especially on defense, winning either Championship will be a tall order. No team has won consecutive Super Bowl titles since the Patriots in 2004 & 2005 and back-to-back NFC Champions haven’t been crowned since the Green Bay Packers dominated the National Football Conference during the 1996 & 1997 seasons.

Denver Broncos: Favorites to saddle up and ride through the AFC

As the shortest Conference Champion chalk, though third favorite overall to claim the Vince Lombardy Trophy, bookmakers at the SportsInteraction sportsbook see the Denver Broncos as the team to beat in the American Football Conference. As long as Peyton Manning stays upright, there’s a lot to like in Denver as the defense is starting to catch up to the offense. For what seems like forever now, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are squarely in the AFC Championship and Super Bowl top favorites picture again this year. Wanting to watch some preseason NFL action, where injuries can happen, we will hold off on our official calls until September.
