NFL Picks & Predictions 2019/20

NFL Picks & Predictions 2019/20
NFL is back in 2019 and there are some exciting betting opportunities available for this season. We preview and predict the main NFL futures outcomes including division and conference winners, MVP candidates and more.

The 2019/20 season of the NFL will culminate in two teams reaching Superbowl LIV on 2 February 2020. Unsurprisingly the New England Patriots are top of the list of Super Bowl odds, while you will also see last year’s three other conference finalists in the top four. Check out the odds below:

New England Patriots 8.00        San Francisco 49ers 41.00
Kansas City Chiefs 9.50              Houston Texans 41.00
New Orleans Saints 11.00   Jacksonville Jaguars 51.00
Los Angeles Rams 12.00   Carolina Panthers 51.00
Philadelphia Eagles 16.00   Tennessee Titans 67.00
Los Angeles Chargers 17.00   New York Jets 71.00
Indianapolis Colts 17.00   Tampa Bay Buccaneers 76.00
Cleveland Browns 18.00   Denver Broncos 91.00
Chicago Bears 21.00   New York Giants 101.00
Green Bay Packers 23.00   Oakland Raiders 101.00
Dallas Cowboys 26.00   Detroit Lions 101.00
Pittsburgh Steelers 26.00   Arizona Cardinals 126.00
Minnesota Vikings 31.00   Washington Redskins 126.00
Atlanta Falcons 34.00   Buffalo Bills 151.00
Seattle Seahawks 34.00   Cincinnati Bengals 151.00
Baltimore Ravens 37.00   Miami Dolphins 201.00

As you can see, there’s all sorts of value on that list, especially considering the favorites are priced at $8.00.

It also indicates how hard it’s going to be to pick NFL futures this season.

Yet we’re going to help out by providing our picks for 2019, including:

  • Division Winners
  • Conference Champions
  • MVP Candidates
  • Superbowl Champions

It’s all right here on SportsBettingReviews.ca. Check out the top sports betting sites right here.

Division Winner Picks

Only 6 teams from each conference of 16 makes it to the NFL playoffs, so it’s not an easy feat. The top teams from each division are guaranteed a playoff berth – here are our predictions and NFL futures division odds.

AFC North

Browns 2.25 Steelers 2.75 Ravens 3.80 Bengals 21.00

The Cleveland Browns have done their time at the bottom of the NFL and are now favourites for the AFC North based on their impressive 2018/19 form.

However, our prediction sees the Ravens swoop in to win a tight division. Great pick @ $3.80.

AFC East

Patriots 1.17 NY Jets 7.00 Bills 13.00 Dolphins 34.00

They’re the team that just keeps on producing, and will continue to be favourites with Brady and Belichick at the helm. We can’t see the Patriots missing top spot. They’re your only viable option at $1.17

AFC South

Colts 2.00 Texans 3.25 Jaguars 4.50 Titans 7.50

This division was one of the closest in 2018 and once again it is a tough one to pick a winner out of. The Texans topped the AFC South last season, although that was only because of the Colts awful start. Indianapolis almost came back to win the division, and we think they’ll excel this year. Go for the Colts @ $2.00.

AFC West

Chiefs 1.67 Chargers 2.75 Broncos 13.00 Raiders 15.00

The AFC West is the division most likely to result in a Super Bowl champion, with both the Kansas City Chiefs and LA Chargers in contention. The Chiefs made the big dance last year on the back of Patrick Mahomes, although their defence is a worry if teams start working out the quarterback. We like the Chargers who have been building for a while. Good value at $2.75.

NFC North

Bears 2.50 Packers 3.00 Vikings 3.25 Lions 13.00

Another close division sees the Bears as the favourites after a sizzling 2018. The Packers are always a threat with Aaron Rogers fit, and they seem to have the wood over their close neighbours. Packers for us at great value odds ($3.00).

NFC East

Eagles 1.91 Cowboys 2.30 Redskins 9.50 NY Giants 13.00

Another two-horse race sees the Eagles and Cowboys go head to head. It’s remarkable to think that the Eagles are $16.00 to win the Super Bowl and the Cowboys are $26.00, yet only a few cents separate them on this list. The Cowboys are the defending NFC East champs, although Carson Wentz’s injury last season was key to the Eagles falling behind. We like the Eagles here at $1.91.

NFC South

Saints 1.53 Falcons 5.00 Panthers 7.00 Buccaneers 9.00

While the NFC boast three quarterbacks that have started in Super Bowls (Brees, Ryan and Newton), there will only be one winning the NFC South this year. It has to be the Saints. Jump on at $1.53.

NFC West

LA Rams 1.53 Seahawks +433 49ers 5.50 Cardinals 21.00

Super Bowl LIII contenders LA will be the favourite to top the division and it’s hard to back against them here even though they might not quite be as dominant as they were in 2018. Rams the pick at $1.53.

Conference Champion Picks

As 32 teams become 12 to reach the NFL Playoffs, only one team from each conference can be crowned division champs.

AFC Champions Pick

For us, it’s between the Patriots and the Chargers, although the Pats simply don’t lose games like these. Patriots for the AFC Championship.

NFC Champions

The NFC is a tight race this season. We’re of the view that the Eagles and Packers may be the surprise contenders of the NFC Championship game. Eagles for the NFC Championship.

MVP Betting Odds

Here are the top ten chances in the MVP Betting race, which is all about the best player across the season:

Patrick Mahomes 6.50
Andrew Luck 7.00
Aaron Rogers 11.00
Baker Mayfield 12.00
Drew Brees 13.00
Carson Wentz 13.00
Tom Brady 16.00
Philip Rivers 21.00
Mitch Trubisky 21.00
Cam Newton 26.00

Sticking with our prediction that the Philadelphia Eagles will be the NFC Champion, we’re going to pick Carson Wentz for MVP in 2019/20.

Superbowl LIV Champion Prediction

It’s not going to be a popular pick, but once again the New England Patriots are going to win the Super Bowl.

The NFL future lines all list the Pats as favourites, and it’s simply because they are will once again finish with a top seeding thanks to their easy division and from there they are too experienced and well drilled to lose in the playoffs. They are great value right now @ 8.00 odds to win Super Bowl.
