NFL Conference Championship Odds Seahawks and Patriots are Top Chalk
It seems like just yesterday when Seattle was 3.5 chalk over San Francisco and New England was a 5.5 point pup vs Denver for the 2014 NFL Conference title games. Fast forward a year and the lines are little thicker, plus the Pats are a favorite, as Green Bay and Indianapolis step in as the contenders during Championship Sunday action on January 18, 2015. Don’t expect the home teams to very hospitable at CenturyLink Field and Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
Super star pivots battle in NFL Conference title action
Owning four of the top five career winning percentages in the NFL today, the NFC and AFC battles feature the best of the best at the QB position. While Hall of Fame stalls are already being built in Canton for veterans Tom Brady (.765) and Aaron Rodgers (.673) young pivots Russell Wilson (.759) and Andrew Luck (.679) are well on their way to stamping out a legacy of their own. Those four stars own a combined 33-15 career playoff record and all of them, except Luck, are Super Bowl Champs. Rodgers and Luck have unlucky draws here.
Chicks may dig the longball but defense rules Championship Sunday
We are anticipating that “lock down and close out the game” defense will play a major role as a Championship decider on Sunday. New England won the second-half of their last seven games by an 88-22 margin allowing just one TD in the process. Seattle outscored their opponents 104-20 in the final two frames of their last seven contests allowing just two majors. While the Hawks and Pats have gone into lock-down mode and closed out games recently, the Colts (89-50) and Packers (67-82) have not been as stingy in the final 30 minutes. NFL Conference Championship Parlay: Though all four teams have had a lot of time to make adjustments since their last meeting, the regular season battles were both blowouts. Seattle gashed Green Bay 36-16 to open their title defense at home in Week 1 while the Patriots went on the road crushed the Colts 42-20 during Week 11 action. A similar result in the Seahawks vs Packers rematch won’t surprise us but we do feel the Colts will keep their contest a little closer. All things considered we see the home teams covering and will back the Hawks and Pats with a 300 unit parlay on the SportsInteraction point spread prices. Cheers to déjà vu and cashing out like it’s 2014 NFL Championship Sunday all over again. Enjoy the games!
