Florida Gators: Four straight BCS bowl game wins
Coming into the Sugar Bowl, Florida has won four straight BCS bowl games, and appears to be headed towards a fifth consecutive BCS bowl win. The Gators finished the regular season with an 11-1 overall record and a 7-1 mark in the SEC. Florida's defense is one of the best in the country, allowing an average of 12.9 points per game in 2012. Their defense will need to be stout on Wednesday to pull out a win.
Louisville Cardinals: Looking to send a message to the nation
SEC teams have been beating up on the rest of the country for quite some time now, but Louisville hopes to end that pattern at the Sugar Bowl tonight. The Cardinals have the right offense to grab a win, averaging 31 points per game this season. The only downside is that their defense permits an average of 23.8 points per game. A 10-2 record and a 5-2 mark earned the Cardinals a bid in this bowl game.
Exciting bowl games line the schedule this week, with the Sugar Bowl providing an intriguing matchup of two incredibly talented teams. Louisville is a major underdog in this game, but do not mention it to the team, as they wholeheartedly believe they can win this game. The sportsbook at Sportsinteraction.com has Florida as -14.5 (-110) favorites. We will bet 20 percent of our bankroll on Florida and the spread.
