National Football League Week 7 Sunday Late Game Lines

Chiefs vs Chargers: AFC West clash in San Diego

There has been a major role reversal in the AFC West heading in Week 7 action. A year ago today, Kansas City was the talk of the NFL as the Chiefs were 6-0 and had bashed their opponents by a combined 152-65 count. Meanwhile, pundits were writing off San Diego who owned a 3-3 record and looked like a team without an identity. Heading into action today, the Chargers are 5-1 while the Chiefs are coming off their bye week with a 2-3 record. The Chargers have won four straight versus Kansas City (15-5 since 2004) and the Chiefs haven't won in San Diego since September 30, 2007. Not expecting a blowout - we are backing the Bolts.

49ers vs Broncos: Prime time NFC West vs AFC West battle

A contest some pundits predicted we would see in Super Bowl XLVIII plays out in the Mile High country as Denver hosts San Francisco in the Sunday Night prime time tilt. Denver (4-2) has won two straight and they are coming off 31-17 win over the Jets in New York last Sunday. San Francisco (4-2) is traveling for a second straight week, on a short turn-around, after they ripped the Rams 31-17 in St. Louis during Week 6 Monday Night Football action. QB Peyton Maning needs three TD passes to reach 509 and pass Brett Favre as the most prolific TD passer in NFL history. These teams haven't clashed since October 31, 2011 (SF won 24-17 in London, UK) and the Niners haven't been to Denver since 2006. The Broncos are a more balanced team on and off the field, plus on the injury front, and we like them in their Mile High home in this contest.

NFL Week 7 Two-Team Parlay: Surfing over to the SportsInteraction betting board for the money line odds, we are a bit surprised by the big price on Denver but we feel we're getting a decent line on the Chargers so it sort of balances out. Our 300 unit parlay backs the Broncos and Chargers as the fight for first in the AFC West continues - with a Bolts V Broncos Mile High showdown looming in Week 8.
