Detroit Tigers: Cats have been flexing their muscles
Winners of 12 of their last 15 games, the Tigers are pounding the ball better than any team in baseball right now. After last night's 11-4 bashing of the Astros, Detroit has won seven straight games and the Cats have outscored their opponents by a combined 48-16 count. Detroit is the only team that still hasn't hit double-digit loses and their 19-9 record computes to a .679 winning percentage - that's the best mark in the Majors.
Houston Astros: Loses continue to mount for the hapless Texans
One of the worst teams in the modern MLB era, the Astros are sitting with a 10-23 record that equates to a meager .303 winning percentage. Terrible in so many facets of the game, Houston is sporting a .217 team batting average and their pitching staff owns a collective 5.04 ERA. After scoring 20 runs in three games in Seattle on the weekend, the Astros bats have been ice cold in Motown - we see that continuing tonight.
MLB Prediction: Cruise with the Cats and lay 500 units on the Tigers run line at SportsInteraction.
