Anaheim Ducks: Off to incredible start to season
Anaheim enters this game atop the Pacific Division with a 7-1-1 record, which is good for 15 points. They are 3-0-1 on the road and are looking for a fifth consecutive victory overall. Against their division rivals last year, the Ducks played to a 1-5-0 record against Dallas. They are hoping that this year is a different story for them in this heated series. The Ducks have been shutout the previous two times they played in Dallas.
Dallas Stars: Looking to stay hot against division foe
After flat-out dominating the Ducks last year, the Stars hope they can do much of the same this season. Dallas, four points behind Anaheim in the division, is just 5-5-1 this year. They are 2-1-1 at home so far. The Stars are one of the least disciplined teams in the league, playing shorthanded a league-high 54 times this season. Goalie Kari Lehtonen has been hot against the Ducks, going 4-1-0 last year against them.
This is the only NHL game on the schedule for Friday night, so it was not difficult to pick. It should be a very exciting tilt between division rivals, especially with the way the Ducks were dominated by the Stars last year. We are using the sportsbook found at Sportsinteraction.com to find the line, which is -1.5 (+235) for the Ducks. We will bet 10 percent of our bankroll on the spread and the Ducks tonight.
