The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs are considered two of the most well matched teams in Super Bowl odds history. Both squads featured outstanding defense and an unstoppable attack on their march to Miami. Super Bowl Vegas odds favor the Chiefs slightly, along with popular opinion, which makes Kansas a popular bet outside of San Francisco.
UFC 246 – Conor McGregor Back In Action!
Conor McGregor takes on Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in UFC 246. It all gets underway on January 18th, 2020, and we have all the top betting odds, and tips.
“The Notorious” Conor McGregor makes his return to the Octagon and will come up against a man who has been very active in the last couple of years. And while McGregor hasn’t fought since his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in UFC 229, he promises to go through his opponent like “a chainsaw through butter”.
So who is Donald Cerrone? Well he’s by no means a nobody. Cerrone has featured in 50 UFC bouts and has a reputation as one of the most durable in the sport. He has previously held two weight titles at once, and comes into this with a record of 36-13 with one no contest.
But of course the drawcard is Conor McGregor. Here’s how the odds have opened ahead of this big clash on January 18:
|Conor McGregor||1.46||vs||2.70||Donald Cerrone|

McGregor vs Cerrone Preview
McGregor is the clear favourite at this stage, but remember that odds are based heavily on the movements of the betting community. Even though he hasn’t fought for a while, McGregor remains the sport’s most famous name, and so many will throw their money on McGregor regardless of his form.
The Notorious might have a statistically better record at 21-4, although he’s literally had half the fights. His opponent is more experienced, although you may need to question whether the Cowboy should be hanging up the boots considering he is 36 years old. He’s also lost his last two fights by TKO.
McGregor has also been talking up his potential rematch with Khabib, so he needs to be careful to not take his eye off the ball here. There’s plenty to think about when wagering on this one.
Yet we would have to agree with Canada’s top sportsbooks and pick McGregor to win this fight. Get in quickly before the odds travel further south.
McGregor vs Cerrone Props Betting
There are already several props wagers available for this bout including:
- Fight Length
- Winner and Result Combo
- Winner and Length Combo
Fight Length Betting
|Under 1.5 rounds||1.86||1.94||Over 1.5 rounds|
|Under 2.5 rounds||1.50||2.50||Over 2.5 rounds|
|Under 3.5 rounds||1.32||3.25||Over 3.5 rounds|
|Under 4.5 rounds||1.20||4.33||Over 4.5 rounds|
The clear trend here is for a short fight, and the benefit of betting on this market is that you don’t necessarily need to pick the correct fighter. Considering that Cowboy’s last fifteen fights have only gone the distance three times, there is a pretty good chance that this one will be decided without a decision.
Given McGregor hasn’t fought in a while, it’s hard to imagine a first round finish. Go for over 1.5 rounds at 1.94.
Winner and Result
Our pick here is McGregor to win by TKO/KO, which is available at generous odds of 1.74.
Winner and Length
Our pick here is McGregor to win in round two, which is paying 5.50. The favoured result in this market is a round one victory (3.00).
