Michigan Wolverines @ Oregon Ducks NCAAB Preview
Ever since their plane skidded off the runway en route to the Big 10 Tournament, the Michigan Wolverines have been a team on a mission. They've found a new sense of togetherness having experienced something as scary as that, and they've parlayed that brotherhood into an incredible run to the Sweet 16. Michigan has become the "team of destiny" in the minds of many and hoards of bettors have already backed the Wolverines in their Sweet 16 matchup vs. Oregon.
The odds for this Michigan/Oregon game has been moving back and forth around the Michigan -1 number, but in terms of number of bets placed, Michigan has a sizeable lead. Whether that's a good thing remains to be seen, but had this game been played even a month ago, the point spread would have likely been somewhere in the range of Oregon -3. Yes, Oregon suffered a critical injury with big man Chris Boucher going down, but the Ducks have been floating around the Top 10 in the rankings all year long and definitely deserve more respect here.
Overall, the Ducks have plenty of talent to match up well with Michigan as Tyler Dorsey and Dillon Brooks are the real deal, and with the Ducks being 10-2 ATS the last 12 times they've been underdogs of 6.5 points or less, and 5-1 ATS as an underdog of any number in NCAA Tournament games, all those bettors who have already bet Michigan should be preparing for some heartbreak.

Three other Sweet 16 games hit the hardwood on March 23rd and all of them should be highly entertaining. From a betting perspective though, two of the games really stand out more then the others and we've got free picks for them listed below.
- West Virginia +3 (-105) - The Mountaineers and their havoc defence should pose plenty of problems for a Gonzaga team that hasn't faced anything like it all year long. West Virginia should give the 'Zags all that they can handle and then some in this contest.
- West Virginia/Gonzaga Under 148.5 (-110) - Gonzaga is no slouch on defence either and with both sides wanting to use their respective defence to dictate the tempo of the game, 148 points for this contest is way too high. Gonzaga is 8-18 O/U in their last 26 non-conference games while West Virginia is on a 3-8-1 O/U run as underdogs.
- Kansas -5.5 (-110) - The Jayhawks have yet to really be tested in this tournament having won by 38 and 20 points respectively, and although Purdue should be a much stiffer test, Kansas and their premier playmakers and overall depth should pull away late.
