Anaheim vs Detroit: Ducks Battle Red Wings in the Motor City

Anaheim looks to rebound from opening night loss

Following a season opening 6-4 loss to Pittsburgh, Anaheim rolls into Detroit looking for their first win of the season. The Ducks were dominated be Sydney Crosby and the Penguins as they gave up five goals in the first two periods and goaltender John Gibson was peppered with 39 shots on goal. We see this contest as a hiccup for the Ducks and fully expect this talented west coast crew to rebound with better defense tonight.

Detroit aims to build on NHL season opening victory over Boston

Aiming to make the NHL playoffs for the 24th straight season, the longest active streak in North American pro sports, Detroit opened their 2014-15 campaign with a 2-1 win over Boston. Though full marks for the victory, Detroit caught a bit of break as the Bruins were playing on back-to-back nights (with travel) and managed just 17 shots in a rather lifeless effort. We like the Ducks higher octane offense in this East vs West showdown.

NHL Prediction: The Ducks season opening loss actually helps us as Anaheim rolls into the Motor City as pups here. The price is huge but we’ll load up and take the 33% return. Soar with the Ducks and a 1000 unit wager on the puck line price posted on the betting board at the SportsInteraction sportsbook.

Phil started 2018 well but disappointed in the second half of the season, while Tiger capped off his season with a win at the TOUR Championship in Atlanta. As such, sports betting sites like Bodog list Woods as the favorite to earn a big paycheck on November 23rd, 2018.

2018 CFL Playoffs
The Calgary Stampeders confirmed their spot at the top of the CFL standings with an easy win over the B.C. Lions in the final week, finalizing the schedule for the 2018 CFL Grey Cup playoffs. Heavily favored for the third season in a row, the Stampeders want to avoid losing their third consecutive finals. Strong underdogs like the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders surged to finish the season, which should cause concern for division-leaders Calgary and Ottawa.
