2017 Stanley Cup Final Odds: Predators vs Penguins Game 4

2017 Stanley Cup Final Odds: Predators vs Penguins Game 4

Stanley Cup Final 2017 Game 4

    My Team's Next MatchNashville Predators

Nashville finally got rewarded for their dominant play throughout this series in Game 3 as they were able to overcome another tough start to get their first win of the Finals. The Predators completely dominated periods 2 and 3 in Game 3, and with their incredible record at home in these playoffs, they'll be looking for more of the same in Game 4.

100% Bonus Up To $200 2017 Stanley Cup Final Odds: Predators vs Penguins Game 4
    Penguins  +1.5 (-240)  +120  o5.5 (+120)
    Predators  -1.5 (+195)  -140  u5.5 (-140)

Pittsburgh may be up 2-1 in the series, but this trend of them getting thoroughly outplayed is starting to become worrisome. Thankfully for the Pens the only thing that counts is wins, but it's not hard to argue that they could very well be down 3-0 in this series if a few bounces and brief stretches of play in the first two games hadn't gone their way.

The Penguins experienced first hand just how tough it is to play in hockey-crazed Nashville this spring in Game 3, and although the building will be rocking again tonight, Pittsburgh will be much more prepared in terms of what to expect.

Nashville was able to use that tremendous energy and their desperation mentality to get the W in Game 3, but it's going to be nearly impossible for them to bring the same kind of intensity to tonight's game. The Game 3 victory was nice, but the reality is Nashville still trails in this series and can ill-afford to go down 3-1 to a team with the championship pedigree that the Penguins have.

G Pekka Rinne was able to bounce back well in Game 3, but I wouldn't be so confident that his great play will continue the rest of the way, as his Game 1 and 2 bad performances are more in line with his career numbers than most think.

When it comes down to it for Game 4, the majority of bettors have become believers in the Predators again and have no problem laying the 40 cents on the ML. There is no denying they've been a much better team at home than on the road this entire postseason, but the Penguins aren't about to rest on their laurels in the knowing they've still got to lose at least once at home.

    Penguins at Predators Predictions

Backing Nashville in Game 3 was one of the stronger situations that have come up for any team in these entire playoffs, but that doesn't mean the case is the same for tonight's Game 4. Crosby and Malkin - held shotless in Game 3 - will be out to spoil the party in Nashville this evening, and with Pittsburgh being 6-1 SU after a loss in these playoffs, bettors better expect Pittsburgh to play their strongest game of the series to date in Game 4.

While there have been some ups-and-downs with my free betting selections during the 2017 NHL Playoffs, the Stanley Cup Finals couldn't be going any better as the plays are now 3-0 against the number. A win with Pittsburgh tonight would up that mark to 4-0 (with two underdog lines), making it a profitable conclusion to the end of the year.
