The NBA’s Northwest Division is home to the Denver Nuggets, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the OKC Thunder, the Portland Trail Blazers and the Utah Jazz. Since the division was created to accommodate expansion in 2004, the northwest has actually been one of the more predictable divisions, with a few exceptions. The Thunder are awesome, the Nuggets are disappointingly talented, the Blazers overachieve, the Jazz are also better than they should be, and the Timberwolves are various degrees of terrible.
The division is also without a deep history, or any dynasty teams like the Celtics, Bulls, Spurs and Lakers. The Thunder, and Jazz have finals appearances without championships, and the Nuggets and Wolves only have a handful of deep playoff runs between the two of teams. In fact, Portland is the only team to have any championships at all, with one from the 1970s.

Best NBA Northwest Betting Tips
Your top level NBA teams will win around 75-80% of their regular season games, and the same percentage (or slightly higher) of their home games. But that being said, even the lottery-bound low tier teams in the NBA will win a dozen or so games every year, which makes them perfect for single-game underdog pay days.
The Northwest doesn’t usually have a powerhouse team, aside from the Thunder, who will win over 50 games. The rest of the division is full of quality “spoilers.” Each of these teams has the raw talent to get hot and beat any given team on any given night.
The NBA’s talent pool has never been deeper. So, the Timberwolves are actually a threat to beat a team like the Thunder, if the favorites have an off night, or don’t take the underdog seriously.
It’s pretty common for both teams to score over 100 points in a good NBA game. There’s also a lot of potential to bet, with every team playing 82 regular season games. The NBA also boasts 4 full rounds of best-of-seven playoff series for your betting pleasure! Teams will play anywhere from 4 to 24 more games, depending on how deep they go.
