Oakland Athletics: Looking to continue hot start
At 10-4, the Athletics are off to the best start in the American League for the 2013 season. They are just 4-4 at home, but are 8-2 in their last 10 games played overall. In night games, the Athletics have a record of 7-2. There really is nothing they cannot do correctly right now and should win tonight.
Houston Astros: Striking out in record fashion
Houston, at 4-9, is not far behind the Athletics in the AL West. They are however striking out at an historic rate to begin the 2013 season. Houston is in the midst of a three-game losing streak after winning three straight games. They should have trouble with the A’s pitching in game two tonight once again.
For tonight’s game between Houston and Oakland, the game line is found at Sportsinteraction.com. Oakland is favored at -1.5 (-105) while Houston is the underdog at +1.5 (-115).
