Toronto vs Winnipeg: Canadian Football League Kickoff Weekend

Toronto Argonauts: Ricky Ray & Crew are ready to roll

After falling 36-24 to the arch-rival Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2013 East Division Final last season, as fairly thick home chalk, Toronto is ready to embark on another CFL Championship chase. Entering his 12th year in the CFL, QB Ricky Ray is looking to play a full season after he missed six contests with a shoulder injury in 2013. With 186 combined catches last season, Andre Durie and Chad Owens look to pick up where they left off as Toronto’s “pass first – run later” offense will be explosive again this season. The fireworks begin tonight.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers: NFL cast-off Drew Willy takes the QB reigns

After stops for coffee in NFL cities Baltimore, Indianapolis, San Diego and New York, plus a stint with the Las Vegas Locomotives in the UFL, QB Drew Willy brought his talents to Saskatchewan where he was a back-up to Darian Durant the last two seasons. Traded to Winnipeg in February, Willy has been named as the season opening pivot for the Blue Bombers. Winnipeg looks to rebound from a disastrous 2013 CFL campaign that saw them post a 3-15 record as Willy looks to improve on the mere 13 TD passes scored by the offense.

CFL Call: Set sail with Ricky Ray and the Boatmen – Wager 500 units on the SportsInteraction money line.
