Road To Super Bowl XLVIII: NFL 2014 Divisional Playoff Preview
Seahawks and 49ers are NFC Divisional playoff chalk
How do you feel about Russel Wilson and Colin Kaepernick, two young and talented quarterbacks, facing off against each other in the NFC Championship? If Seattle and San Francisco can match their top chalk status, as posted at the SportsInteraction online sportsbook, that’s exactly what we’ll get next weekend. Before that can happen though, they’ll have to get past Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton. The Seahawks are thick home chalk at -8 (-110) over the Saints while the 49ers are listed as slim road favorites for a second straight weekend at -1 (110) against the spread. We’re on the chalk!
Patriots and Broncos as favorite to advance the AFC Championship
Bookmakers at SIA have posted New England and Denver as home favorites for the AFC Divisional playoff match-ups. When the Patriots and Broncos come up winners, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will face each other in the AFC Championship for the third time in eleven years. Standing in their way, the new “Ice Man” of the NFL, Colts QB Andrew Luck, will give the Patriots all they can handle while veteran QB Phillip Rivers and San Diego face a tough test in the Mile High air versus the Broncos. New England are -7 (-110) are favorites in Foxboro, while Denver owns the thickest chalk line of the weekend at -9 (-110) as they host the Chargers.
