Detroit Tigers: Headed for game five
Detroit dropped game three at home on Monday afternoon to the A’s by a score of 6-3. Anibal Sanchez could not figure out the A’s lineup, allowing a couple of home runs en route to the loss. The Tigers will hinge their playoff hopes on Doug Fister today in an effort to tie the series and get to a deciding fifth game.
Oakland Athletics: Aiming for a series victory
Oakland would love nothing more than to grab a win in Detroit today and prevent the series from shifting back to Oakland for a fifth game. The A’s will send Dan Straily to the mound to tame the Tigers. He led all rookies in wins (10), strikeouts (124), innings (152.1) and starts (27) for the 2013 season.
For this afternoon’s game between the Oakland Athletics and the Detroit Tigers we find the game line at Sportsinteraction.com. Despite leading the series, we are going to bet against the A’s since they are on the road facing a tough Tigers team. We will bet on Detroit with the -1.5 (+130) line on Tuesday afternoon.
