Chicago Blackhawks: Western Conference Final chalk
After polishing off the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild, Chicago opens the Western Conference Finals as one of the hotter teams in the NHL playoffs. Since dropping the first two games of their quarterfinal series versus St. Louis, the Blackhawks have won eight of their last ten games by a combined 27- 19 count. While the Kings present a major challenge for the Hawks, we like the Champs to advance to the Stanley Cup Final.
Los Angeles Kings: Road warriors continue their playoff winning ways
Following a path similar to their Stanley Cup Championship in 2012, Los Angeles continues to be unfazed by being road pups in the NHL playoffs. The Kings went 10-1 on the road two years ago and they are 5-3 away from the Staples Center this year. LA was pushed to seven games by the Sharks (after falling behind 3-0) and the Ducks. The Kings now venture out of California for the first time since an April 10, 2014, trip to Edmonton.
