Colon has posted a 3.82 ERA so far this season to go along with a record of 5-2. In just over 61 innings pitched this year he has walked just four hitters. His control has been impeccable and is coming off an impressive win over the Houston Astros on Sunday after throwing seven scoreless innings.
Chicago White Sox: Trying to find a rhythm
Chicago has struggled this season, to the tune of a 24-27 mark, but sends Dylan Axelrod to the mound. Axelrod is 3-3 with a 4.21 ERA this season. He has won his last three starts after not recording a win in his first seven starts of the season. Axelrod will need his best stuff to defeat the A’s on Friday night on the road.
