Los Angeles Angels: Weaver seeking sixth win
Jered Weaver has pitched to a 5-5 record this season, but has an impressive ERA of 2.84. In his previous three starts, Weaver has allowed just one run in 21.2 innings pitched. In his most recent start, against the Rangers on Monday, he threw seven innings of one-run baseball. He recorded a no-decision in the game.
Toronto Blue Jays: Rogers looking for turnaround
Esmil Rogers entered the Blue Jays rotation in May, pitching to a 2.18 ERA in his first six starts, but has struggled mightily since then. Over his past five starts, Rogers has an ERA of 6.43 and an 0-2 record. He is looking to get back on track tonight when he faces the Angels lineup, which is not a bunch of pushovers.
When the Angels host the Blue Jays on Saturday night in California, we head over to Sportsinteraction.com to find the betting line for the game. We are going to back the Angels at home with the -1.5 (+120) line and split the bet to include the UNDER 8 total runs at -115 over the Blue Jays. Bet on LA to grab the win.
