Anaheim Ducks: Hoping third time is a charm in Dallas
After taking a pair of one goal wins at home to open this series, Anaheim rolled into Dallas and looked anything but the #1 seed in the West as they dropped 3-0 and 4-2 decisions to the Stars. The Ducks roared back with a 6-2 Game Five victory in Anaheim as their Captain Ryan Getzlaf returned after missing Game Four and registered a goal and two assists. We expect a close contest here so taking the pucks is our plan.
Dallas hoping Stars align as they face NHL postseason elimination
Give the Dallas Stars credit where credit is due. Capturing the final Wild Card as the #8 seed in the West, expectations were not high for this young fast skating club outside of Dallas. After a couple of wins, two close loses and blowout, the Stars look to pull out all the stops as they try to force a Game Seven back in California. While puck lines normally favorite the home team, we feel the Ducks are the proper favorite in this contest.
SBR NHL Prediction: We see a Ducks win here but will take the pucks offered with a 500 unit wager.
