2017 Stanley Cup Final Odds: Predators vs Penguins Game 6

2017 Stanley Cup Final Odds: Predators vs Penguins Game 6
After a dominating 6-0 win in Game 5, the Pittsburgh Penguins are one win away from back-to-back Stanley Cups. Winning in Nashville has been nearly impossible for visitors in these playoffs, as the Preds won't go down without a fight. Game 6 is scheduled for 8:05 pm EST on June 11, 2016.

After Pittsburgh thoroughly beatdown the Predators in Game 5, we’ve still yet to see a visiting team win in this series and that’s bad news for Nashville. The Predators are the ones with their backs against the wall in Game 6, and if they are able to get the W, a return trip to Pittsburgh where they’ve yet to win will be in the cards. But it’s first thing first for Nashville in Game 6 as they do not want to see the Penguins celebrating on their home ice.

100% Bonus Up To $200

Predators  -1.5 (+175)  -130  u5.5 (-130)

Although the Nashville Predators find themselves down in the series and coming off a blowout loss, they’ve got to be feeling confident being back at home for Game 6 as they’ve been nearly unbeatable in this building during the playoffs. Nashville has only lost once all playoffs at home and this is not the time to lose that second game.

However, at the same time the Penguins have to be feeling quite confident themselves after putting six goals on the board and being just one win away from another Stanley Cup parade. In the history of the organization, all three Stanley Cup victories have been clinched on the road, and two of the three have come in Game 6. Pittsburgh will have to play much better in this building in Games 3 and 4 though to keep that trend alive, but now that they smell blood, their championship pedigree should kick in and we will see a great effort from the Penguins in Game 6.

At this stage of the series you can throw out a lot of stats because these two teams know each other so well that it simply becomes a matter of execution. The team that comes up with the best performance and is able to capitalize on their chances in Game 6 will be the one who comes out on top, and given how well the home team has produced results in this series so far, it won’t be surprising to see the majority of bettors lean towards the Nashville Predators forcing a 7th game.

Yet, it’s tough to ignore just how dominant the Penguins were in Game 5 and the fact that the franchise has a history of winning Stanley Cups away from home. Pittsburgh hasn’t been great at closing out teams in these playoffs so far as they’ve needed at least two cracks at it in every series, but I do believe that changes here in Game 6.

Penguins at Predators Predictions

Stepping in front of a trend like the one with the home teams being 5-0 SU in this series isn’t exactly ideal, but at the same time it does present quite a bit of value. Pittsburgh is going to come with that killer instinct in Game 6 and if they can weather the expected early push from Nashville without too much damage, we will see the Stanley Cup raised by the end of the game.

My free betting picks on the Stanley Cup Final have produced a 4-1 SU record, so hopefully you have already signed up/have an account at one (or more) of the sportsbooks below and took advantage of that winning information. If not, it still doesn’t hurt to sign up now prior to Game 6 because it’s not like once the NHL season is over you won’t be getting great winning advice on other strong betting opportunities in other sports throughout the summer months.
